Our training sessions include:

  • Multiple Mock Interviews: Conducted with a professional camera, all interviews will be recorded for playback and critique.
  • Communications Objective Development: Create an elevator pitch that clearly conveys a spokesperson’s message to the public.
  • An Understanding of The Media: Teaching the way a spokesperson thinks vs. how a reporter thinks, and why it is so important to understand where the media is coming from.
  • Discovering Your News Pegs: Review current topics that spokespeople are ready to speak to and find opportunities to incorporate their insights into the news of the day.
  • Types of Interview Questions: Who controls the interview? Identifying standard questions that are asked in an interview, and why the power and control are in a spokesperson’s answer.
  • One-Hour Follow-up Call: Review and critique messages and topics that were during a training session and answer any additional questions.
